Seeking the landscape captured in a friend’s photo, Will Gadd and Sarah Hueniken travel to Newfoundland’s coastal sea stacks, an area little known to climbers (perhaps for good reason).
They access the towers with the aid of a local fisherman and discover–not a new seaside climbing paradise, but stacks of brittle, wet rock that shatter in their hands. They rope up anyway, and document their scrambles in this short video.
