In April 2002 Mick Fowler and Paul Ramsden climbed a new route (ED sup: 1500m) on Siguniang (6250m), making the first ascent of the mountain’s north face, where they encountered heavy spindriff, steep ice and some less than idyllic bivies. A full account of their expedition appears in Issue 1.
