Rodrigo is the Director and Founder of Aventuras Patagonicas and Powder South Heliski Guides, a guide at Exum, and was a former Technical Committee member for the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). He is certified as an alpine, rock and ski guide who has spent twenty-three active years guiding twenty-four expeditions to Denali, twenty-eight expeditions to Aconcagua, and a handful to Shishapangma and Cho Oyu in the Himalaya.

His climbs in Patagonia include the North and Central Towers of Paine, Agujas Guillaumet and Poincenot, and attempts on Cerro Torre. His explorations of the Patagonian Ice Cap include the first east-west traverse of northern Ice Cap. He has made numerous first ascents in Antarctica, the Andes and Alaska; speed ascents of Denali, Aconcagua, Juncal; guided ascents of the Ellsworth Mountains and Mt. Vinson in Antarctica. Also well versed from the Alps to Yosemite, Rodrigo is a traveler hooked on the world’s best climbing.
